Regular Season Round 10: Lakers - Neuchatel 92-90

The most exciting game of round 10 in the SBL took place in Vevey. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Neuchatel (6-2) to eighth ranked Lakers (3-5) 92-90 on Wednesday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Durell Vinson (202-85, college: Wagner) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import guard Raijon Kelly (193-93, college: Angelo St.) contributed with 22 points and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international guard Brian Savoy (186-92) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Westher Molteni (200-87) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Neuchatel. Four Lakers and five Neuchatel players scored in double figures. Lakers maintains eighth position with 3-5 record, which they share with Swiss Central. Neuchatel at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Fribourg. Lakers is looking forward to face Pully (#10) on the road in the next round. Neuchatel will play against Swiss Central (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
