Important game to mention about took place in Szombathely. Fifth ranked Falco-Vulcano (6-4) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 10th ranked Alba (4-6) 72-70 on Thursday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Falco-Vulcano looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Juvonte Reddic (206-92, college: VCU) fired 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Julian Norfleet (188-91, college: Mt.St.Mary's) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Allerik Freeman (190-94, college: NC State) produced 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Jacobi Boykins (198-95, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Alba's coach Branislav Dzunic tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Falco-Vulcano moved-up to fourth place, which they share with ZTE KK and JP-Auto JKSE. Alba lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with six games lost. Falco-Vulcano will face JP-Auto JKSE (#5) in Jaszberenyi in the next round. Alba will play on the road against ZTE KK (#6) in Zalaegerszeg and hope to win that game.
