Rather expected game when 16th ranked Zenit-Farm (1-10) lost to fourteenth ranked Universitet-Yugra (3-8) in Sankt Petersburg 83-91. 29 personal fouls committed by Zenit-Farm helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian Nikola Lepojevic (195-82, agency: Alti Sport) fired 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian point guard Linas Lekavicius (186-84, college: American) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Five Universitet-Yugra players scored in double figures. Andrey Savrasov (194-0) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Kirill Salmin (187-95) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Universitet-Yugra maintains fourteenth place with 3-8 record, which they share with Kupol-Rodniki. Zenit-Farm lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Universitet-Yugra will have a break next round. Zenit-Farm will play on the road against Uralmash (#8) in Ekaterinburg and hope to win that game.
