SBL top team - Fribourg (8-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Pully (0-7) 100-43. Fribourg dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Pully's 32 and made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Fribourg forced 24 Pully turnovers and outrebounded them 38-23 including a 29-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Pully's players. Belgian point guard Noemie Mayombo (170-91, agency: LBM Management) nailed 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and the former international power forward Marielle Giroud (180-87, college: Franklin Pierce) accounted for 17 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals.
