Apollon outrebounded Omonia 38-21 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Cameron Naylor (201-94, college: Texas St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Lithuanian guard Dovydas Redikas (192-92) accounted for 8 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Naylor is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Jarvis Garrett (183-95, college: Rhode Island) came up with 19 points and 6 assists and the other American import forward Jordan Garnett (196-95, college: N.Kentucky) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Omonia in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Apollon moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Etha. Newly promoted Omonia stay at the bottom position with six games lost. They share it with AEL and E.N. Paralimni. Apollon will meet league's leader Keravnos in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Omonia will play against Etha (#4) and hope to secure a win.
