Very predictable result in Ekaterinburg where eighth ranked Uralmash (7-6) defeated bottom-ranked Zenit-Farm (1-12) 80-67 on Wednesday. Uralmash forced 22 Zenit-Farm turnovers. The best player for the winners was American forward DeSean Parsons (201, college: Portland St.) who scored 21 points and 4 assists. The other American import guard Aaron Parks (190-94, college: CS Northridge) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Swingman Ruslan Tumanov (195-91, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) produced 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Andrey Savrasov (194-0) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Uralmash moved-up to seventh place. Zenit-Farm lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
