There was no surprise in Perm where 11th ranked Parma-2 (3-15) was defeated by third ranked Lokomotiv-2 (13-5) 82-66 on Friday. The guests trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 16 points. Lokomotiv-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Parma-2's 30. Forward Nikita Remizov (197-0, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Alexandr Shcherbenev (188-0) chipped in 18 points and 8 assists during the contest (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Four Lokomotiv-2 players scored in double figures. Guard Vladimir Tokishin (185-98) responded with 18 points and 7 assists and forward Egor Chernyshev (196-99) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Lokomotiv-2 have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 13-5 record having just eight point less than leader CSKA Junior. Parma-2 lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost. Lokomotiv-2 will face league's second-placed Khimki-2 on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
