Date: December 16, 2018
Bottom-ranked Starwings managed to get a second victory, breaking the nine-game losing streak. This time they won against eighth-ranked Lugano Tigers in Basel 68-64. It was a good game for American forward Antonio Hester (198-90, college: Mobile, AL) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. Serbian-Montenegrin center Nemanja Calasan (204-85, college: Purdue, agency: HMS) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Hester is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American power forward Juwann James (198-87, college: JMU) replied with 24 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import center Nolan Berry (208-94, college: Maryville, MO) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Lugano Tigers.
