Regular Season Round 11: Sopron Basket - BEAC Ujbuda 96-45

Undefeated leader Sopron Basket delivered the eleventh consecutive victory. This time they crushed 10th ranked BEAC-Ujbuda (2-8) 96-45. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BEAC-Ujbuda. Sopron Basket held BEAC-Ujbuda to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 56.9 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded BEAC-Ujbuda 57-23 including a 42-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sopron Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by BEAC-Ujbuda's players. International center Bernadett Hatar (208-94) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field). Serbian forward Aleksandra Crvendakic (188-96) contributed with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Sopron Basket players scored in double figures. New Zealand forward Jacinta Beckley (185-95, college: Seattle, agency: AgainHello) answered with 14 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Klaudia Papp (168-95) added 15 points in the effort for BEAC-Ujbuda. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sopron Basket (11-0) have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row. BEAC-Ujbuda at the other side keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Cegledi EKK. Sopron Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
