Date: December 17, 2018
Bottom-ranked Dynamo Moscow (0-8) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their eighth consecutive match to fifth ranked Enisey Krasnoyarsk (5-4) 95-74 on Monday evening. Enisey Krasnoyarsk outrebounded Dynamo Moscow 42-27 including 33 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Enisey Krasnoyarsk especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. The best player for the winners was American forward Stephanie Mavunga (190-95, college: Ohio St., agency: LBM Management) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. Her fellow American import forward Myisha Hines-Allen (188-96, college: Louisville) chipped in 8 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Maria Savina (188-88, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who recorded 17 points and 5 assists and forward Ekaterina Chistyakova (184-89) added 15 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Enisey Krasnoyarsk moved-up to fourth place. Dynamo Moscow lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost. Enisey Krasnoyarsk will meet Inventa (#7) in the next round. Dynamo Moscow will play against the league's second-placed Dynamo Kursk and hopes to get finally their first victory.
