Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Budapest: BEAC-Ujbuda (#10) and Vasas Akademia (#9). Vasas Akademia was defeated at home 60-72 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It was a great shooting night for BEAC-Ujbuda especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Dora Szabo (171-95) who helped to win the game recording 9 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists and the former international guard Anna Lakloth (181-88, agency: Interperformances) who added 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. BEAC-Ujbuda's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was forward Reka Dombai (179-2) with 19 points and Orsolya Toth (180-0) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. BEAC-Ujbuda (3-8) moved-up to eighth place. Vasas Akademia lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with PINKK-Pecsi. BEAC-Ujbuda will play against PINKK-Pecsi (#9) at home in the next round. Vasas Akademia will play against UNI Gyor and hopes to get back on the winning track.
