TF Budapest's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after ten consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Szeged, where they edged Szedeak (2-9) 60-57 on Saturday. TF Budapest made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for Danish-Ivorian center Jonas Bergstedt (210-91) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 19 rebounds. American guard Donte Clark (196-94, college: Texas Southern, agency: Inception Sports) accounted for 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Serbian guard Marko Boltic (193-87, agency: 011 Sports) came up with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Serbian guard Aleksandar Ponjavic (198-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Szedeak in the defeat. Newly promoted TF Budapest maintains fourteenth place with 1-10 record. It was Szedeak's fourth loss in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with nine games lost. TF Budapest will meet higher ranked Falco-Vulcano (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Szedeak will play against Sopron KC (#10) and hope to secure a win.
