PBL top team - UMMC Ekaterinburg (11-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Dynamo Moscow (0-10) 118-49. UMMC Ekaterinburg dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Dynamo Moscow's 24. They outrebounded Dynamo Moscow 48-24 including a 34-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. UMMC Ekaterinburg players were unselfish on offense dishing 35 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Dynamo Moscow's players. It was a great evening for Bahamas center Jonquel Jones (198-94, college: G.Washington) who led her team to a victory scoring 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). International center Natalia Vieru (200-89) helped adding 14 points and 12 rebounds. Five UMMC Ekaterinburg players scored in double figures. Polina Fedorova (189-95) responded with 12 points and 9 rebounds and guard Maria Savina (188-88, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) scored 9 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UMMC Ekaterinburg have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-0 record. Dynamo Moscow at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost.
