There was no surprise when 5th ranked Etha (5-9) was crushed on the road by second ranked AEK Larnaca (10-3) 84-64. The game without a history. AEK Larnaca led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American-Puerto Rican guard Kyle Vinales (185-92, college: Cent.Conn.St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 4 assists. Belarusian-Russian forward Vladimir Veremeenko (208-84) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four AEK Larnaca players scored in double figures. American guard Robert Davis-III (185, college: Johnson C. Smith) replied with 18 points and 5 assists and his fellow American import Chris Flemmings (197-94, college: NC-Wilmington) added 19 points in the effort for Etha.
