Bottom-ranked Dynamo Moscow (0-13) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 78-53 loss to sixth ranked MBA (6-6) in Moscow. MBA outrebounded Dynamo Moscow 44-25 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international point guard Karina Nizamova (170-92) nailed 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Ekaterina Sytnyak (185-82, agency: LBM Management) accounted for 11 points and 6 rebounds. Five MBA players scored in double figures. Natalya Potemina (185-88) came up with 13 points and 6 rebounds and center Aleksandra Varaksina (190-93) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Dynamo Moscow in the defeat. MBA moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sparta&K MR. Dynamo Moscow lost their twelfth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. MBA's next round opponent will be Inventa (#6) in Kursk. Dynamo Moscow will play at home against Nadezhda Orenburg (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
