A Division top team - Szolnok (15-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Kaposvari (5-12) 96-78. Szolnok dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Kaposvari's 38. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Kaposvari was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international swingman Szilard Benke (198-95) stepped up and scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and American point guard Andrew Rowsey (180-94, college: Marquette) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists.
