There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Enisey-2 (4-24) won against 8th ranked Zenit-2 (11-15) in Krasnoyarsk 89-71 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 48-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Enisey-2 forced 19 Zenit-2 turnovers. Strangely Zenit-2 outrebounded Enisey-2 44-28 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Dmitriy Sonko who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Vladislav Afanasiev (191-99) contributed with 22 points and 5 assists for the winners. Vladimir Fomenko (-0) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds and forward Lev Bykov (200-99, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Zenit-2. Zenit-2's coach Oleg Aksipetrov rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Enisey-2 maintains eleventh position with 4-24 record. Zenit-2 at the other side keeps the eighth place with 15 games lost. Enisey-2 will have a break next round.
