Leader Vostok-65 delivered the twentieth win on Monday night. This time they beat 10th ranked Universitet-Yugra (10-13) 112-95 in Surgut. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Universitet-Yugra. Vostok-65 shot 61.5 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Universitet-Yugra's players. The former international forward Aleksandr Gudumak (203-93, agency: Alti Sport) fired 32 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American point guard Kwamain Mitchell (183-89, college: St.Louis) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 assists. Five Vostok-65 players scored in double figures. American guard Kahlil Dukes (183-95, college: Niagara) produced 27 points and 8 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and Serbian Nikola Lepojevic (195-82, agency: Alti Sport) added 21 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vostok-65 (20-3) have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Newly promoted Vostok-65 maintains first place. Universitet-Yugra at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Vostok-65 are looking forward to face Spartak-Prim. (#7) in Vladivostok in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Universitet-Yugra will play at home against Ural Ekaterinburg (#5) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
