No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Samara-2 (18-12) defeated at home 6th ranked Unics-2 (16-12) 70-65. It looked good early as Unics-2 took a 12-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Samara-2 took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 5 points. They made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for forward Danila Chikarev (196-1) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Oleg Cherepanov (199-99) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Samara-2 players scored in double figures. Guard Denis Kapustin (185-99) replied with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Artem Ivanov (193-98) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Unics-2. Unics-2's coach Andrei Kibenko rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Samara-2 maintains fourth position with 18-12 record, which they share with Avtodor-2.
