There was no surprise in Moscow where 10th ranked Dynamo-MGTU (11-17) was defeated by third ranked Runa Basket (21-7) 82-76 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Artem Pisarchuk (205-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Andrey Semenov (200-90, college: JMU) who added 22 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Runa Basket's coach Jovan Popovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ukrainian center Nikolay Eremin (205-85) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and forward Ruslan Khakunov (192-90) scored 15 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Runa Basket maintains third position with 21-7 record having just three points less than leader Ufimets Ufa. Dynamo-MGTU lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 17 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
