The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked Enisey Krasnoyarsk's (8-7) home victory over 6th ranked Spartak Vidnoye (6-8) 93-75 on Sunday. Enisey Krasnoyarsk looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Stephanie Mavunga (190-95, college: Ohio St., agency: LBM Management) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists. Her fellow American import forward Myisha Hines-Allen (188-96, college: Louisville) chipped in 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Enisey Krasnoyarsk players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Denesha Stallworth (191-92, college: Kentucky, agency: LBM Management) who recorded 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and the former international center Tatiana Sema (193-96) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Enisey Krasnoyarsk. They moved-up to fourth place. Spartak Vidnoye lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost. They share it with MBA. Enisey Krasnoyarsk will meet league's leader UMMC Ekaterinburg on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Spartak Vidnoye will play against the league's second-placed Dynamo Kursk (#2) and hope to secure a win.
