VTB-Youth top team - Khimki-2 (27-7) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Parma-2 (4-28) 103-68. The game without a history. Khimki-2 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Parma-2's 26 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Parma-2 42-31 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Khimki-2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for center Sergey Klyuev (205-98, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Vladislav Odinokov (203-0) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Khimki-2 players scored in double figures. Forward Egor Chernyshev (196-99) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and forward Sergey Tkachenko (201-99) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Parma-2. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Khimki-2 have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 27-7 record. Parma-2 lost tenth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom. They share the position with Enisey-2. Khimki-2 are again looking forward to face bottom-ranked Parma-2 (#11) in Perm in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Parma-2 will have a break next round.
