No shocking result in a game in Budapest where ninth ranked Cegledi EKK (6-13) defeated 11th ranked BEAC-Ujbuda (4-15) 68-62. They outrebounded BEAC-Ujbuda 41-23 including 29 on the defensive glass. Serbian point guard Jovana Popovic (173-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. American power forward Vicki Baugh (193-89, college: Tennessee) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Anna Lakloth (181-88, agency: Interperformances) replied with 11 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and New Zealand forward Jacinta Beckley (185-95, college: Seattle, agency: AgainHello) added 16 points in the effort for BEAC-Ujbuda. BEAC-Ujbuda's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Cegledi EKK moved-up to eighth place. BEAC-Ujbuda lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Cegledi EKK will play against bottom-ranked MTK (#12) in Budapest in the next round.
