Regular Season Round 20: Swiss Central - Pully 86-76

Date: March 2, 2019
Bottom-ranked Swiss Central managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the seven-game losing streak. This time they won against tenth-ranked Pully in Luzern 86-76. Swiss Central brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The winners were led by Cameroonian forward Harding NaNa (203-81, college: Delaware) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Marco Lehmann (187-93) supported him with 22 points and 5 assists. Five Swiss Central players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 31 points and 11 rebounds by Nigerian power forward Avery Ugba (204-94, college: Austin Peay St.) did not help to save the game for Pully. American guard Anton Wilson (196-94, college: Detroit Mercy) added 9 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Pully's coach Randoald Dessarzin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Swiss Central (4-14) moved-up to tenth place. Pully lost eleventh consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with 15 games lost. Swiss Central will play against league's second-placed Fribourg on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Pully will play against Massagno (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
