The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Keravnos (14-5) in Strovolos on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by seventh ranked Omonia (7-12) 92-89. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Keravnos. The guests trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 27-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Keravnos at the other side dropped to the second position with five games lost. Omonia is looking forward to face bottom-ranked E.N. Paralimni (#8) at home in the next round. Keravnos will play against Apollon (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
