Very important is a road loss of third ranked Lokomotiv-2 (22-10) against sixth ranked Avtodor-2 (21-15) on Thursday night. Visiting Lokomotiv-2 was defeated by Avtodor-2 in a tough game in Saratov 82-87. The hosts were already 11 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 25-19 Lokomotiv-2's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 87-82 at the end of the game. Avtodor-2 forced 21 Lokomotiv-2 turnovers and had a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Lokomotiv-2 was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Igor Bestuzhev (180-99) notched 18 points, 9 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and forward Anton Kvitkovskikh (200-0) supported him with 23 points and 5 rebounds.
