VTB-Youth top team - Khimki-2 (29-9) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Enisey-2 (5-31) 101-70. The game without a history. Khimki-2 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Khimki-2 outrebounded Enisey-2 49-26 including a 38-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Khimki-2 brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Gleb Guchetl (194-98) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Dmitrii Kadoshnikov (204-1) who added 12 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Khimki-2's coach Alexander Gerasimov felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Danil Dergachev (185-98) responded with 13 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and guard Egor Bezrukov (185-0) scored 14 points and 4 assists. Five Khimki-2 and four Enisey-2 players scored in double figures. Khimki-2 maintains first position with 29-9 record. Enisey-2 lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with 31 games lost. They share the position with Parma-2. Khimki-2 will play against Lokomotiv-2 (#3) in Krasnodar in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Enisey-2 will play at home against Unics-2 (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
