Ryazan (#5) was upset in Ryazan by eighth ranked Neftekhimik T. 85-80. It was a great shooting night for Neftekhimik T. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. The winners were led by point guard Taras Klyundikov (190-95) who scored that evening 22 points and 4 assists and Dmitriy Ezhov (207-91) supported him with 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Even 31 points and 4 assists by forward Aleksey Pasechnik (197-97) did not help to save the game for Ryazan. Point guard Egor Panov (190-95) added 15 points, 8 assists and 4 steals for the hosts. Five Neftekhimik T. and four Ryazan players scored in double figures. Neftekhimik T. maintains eighth position with 16-21 record. Ryazan at the other side keeps the fifth place with 16 games lost.
