The game between second ranked Keravnos (15-6) and fifth ranked Etha (9-12) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Keravnos was defeated by Etha in a tough game in Nicosia 82-87. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Keravnos won fourth quarter 25-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Etha made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Etha outrebounded Keravnos 36-21 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American Chris Flemmings (197-94, college: NC-Wilmington) who led his team to a victory with 29 points. Norwegian forward Karamo Jawara (203-91, college: N.C.Central) contributed with a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. American guard Josh Hagins (185-94, college: UALR, agency: Haylett Sports) answered with 25 points and 7 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and the other American import forward Darral Willis (206-96, college: Wichita St.) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Keravnos. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Etha moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Apollon. Keravnos at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost.
