Second Stage Round 1: JP-Auto JKSE - Falco-Vulcano 60-91

The most interesting game of round 1 was a home defeat of JP-Auto JKSE (17-10) by Falco-Vulcano (18-9) who outscored them by 31 points 91-60. Falco-Vulcano forced 20 JP-Auto JKSE turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Evan Bruinsma (202-92, college: Detroit Mercy, agency: Inception Sports) stepped up and scored 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Serbian forward Stefan Balmazovic (199-89) chipped in 21 points. Four Falco-Vulcano players scored in double figures. Falco-Vulcano's coach Gasper Okorn felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American point guard Damier Pitts (177-89, college: Marshall) responded with 18 points and 5 assists and swingman Balazs Kerpel-Fronius (194-92) scored 10 points. Falco-Vulcano are looking forward to face PVSK-Veolia (#5) in Pecs in the next round. JP-Auto JKSE will play at home against Kormend and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
