Everything could happen in Szekesfehervar at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Alba and 11th ranked Kaposvari had identical 13-15 record. This time Alba used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Kaposvar 79-68 on Saturday night. Alba looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Brandon Peterson (203-90, college: Arkansas St., agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard Allerik Freeman (190-94, college: NC State, agency: Slash Sports) who added 12 points during the contest. Four Alba players scored in double figures. Alba's coach Jesus Ramirez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Belarusian-Russian Aliaksandr Pustahvar (202-85) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Akos Halasz (183-91, agency: HMS) scored 13 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Alba (14-15) moved-up to third place, which they share with PVSK-Veolia and Sopron KC. Loser Kaposvari dropped to the fourth position with 16 games lost. Alba will face bottom-ranked TF Budapest (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
