No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Dynamo-MGTU (20-27) beat bottom-ranked Elbrus Cherk. (5-42) in Maykop 95-85 on Saturday. Dynamo-MGTU made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game, while Elbrus Cherk. only scored two points from the stripe. Strangely Elbrus Cherk. outrebounded Dynamo-MGTU 49-36 including 16 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by Ukrainian center Nikolay Eremin (205-85) who scored that evening 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and guard Maksim Abyzov (191-90) supported him with 25 points and 4 steals. Even 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by guard Asker Nabitov (188-95) did not help to save the game for Elbrus Cherk.. Center Mikhail Goretskiy (200-97) added 10 points and 13 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dynamo-MGTU have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain ninth position with 20-27 record. Elbrus Cherk. lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 42 lost games. Dynamo-MGTU will again meet at home bottom-ranked Elbrus Cherk.
