The game between Top Four teams took place in Paks. Second ranked host Atomeromu (16-16) defeated 3rd placed Sopron KC (15-17) 119-112. Atomeromu made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Atomeromu outrebounded Sopron KC 53-33 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Sopron KC was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American Nick Faust (198-93, college: LBSU) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Julian Norfleet (188-91, college: Mt.St.Mary's) accounted for 29 points for the winning side. Five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Atomeromu's coach Srecko Sekulovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American point guard Angelo Warner (188-92, college: Morehead St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and American-Jamaican guard Brynton Lemar (193-95, college: UC Davis) added 32 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Sopron KC in the defeat. Atomeromu maintains second place with 16-16 record having just one victory less than leader KTE-Duna, which they share with PVSK-Veolia. Sopron KC at the other side keeps the third position with 17 games lost. Atomeromu will play against DEAC (#4) in Debrecen in the next round. Sopron KC will play at home against the league's leader KTE-Duna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
