There was a small surprise when Morges-Saint-Prex (1-2) beat Wallabies (0-2) in Kuesnacht-Erlenbach 79-69 on Saturday. Morges-Saint-Prex made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for the former international center Evrard Atcho (207-92, college: Kansas City CC) who led the winners and scored 26 points. American guard Derek Winston (185-87) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Guard David Lazarevic (188-91) came up with 15 points and guard Etienne Ettlinger (190-94, college: Desert CC) added 16 points respectively for Wallabies in the defeat. Wallabies' coach Tresor Quidome rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Morges-Saint-Prex will meet at home Academie Fribourg (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Wallabies will play against GC Zurich (#5) and hope to get finally their first victory.
