Regular Season Round 4: UNI Gyor - PEAC-Pecs 82-68

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked PEAC-Pecs' (1-3) road loss to fifth ranked UNI Gyor (3-1) 68-82 on Saturday. UNI Gyor looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Slovakian power forward Zofia Hruscakova (190-95) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and Spanish point guard Sandra Ygueravide (172-84) who added 15 points and 9 assists during the contest. At the losing side Ukrainian center Taisia Udodenko (191-89) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and the former international swingman Fanni Szabo (185-94, college: Dartmouth, agency: LBM Management) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UNI Gyor moved-up to second place, which they share with Miskolc and Atomeromu. Loser PEAC-Pecs dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. UNI Gyor will face league's leader Sopron Basket at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. PEAC-Pecs will play against Vasas Akademia (#12) in Budapest and hope to win that game.
