The best player for the winners was Chilean center Ziomara Morrison (194-89) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds. International guard Dora Medgyessy (174-86) chipped in 7 points and 11 assists. American forward Keyona Hayes (188-94, college: Miami, FL) produced 19 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and the former international point guard Dora Nagy (170-95) added 18 points and 7 assists respectively for the hosts. Four ZTE NKK players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Miskolc. They maintain second place with 4-1 record behind leader Sopron Basket, which they share with Atomeromu. Loser ZTE NKK dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Miskolc will face Vasas Akademia (#9) in Budapest in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ZTE NKK will play on the road against PEAC-Pecs and hope to win that game.
