Very expected game in Kazan where bottom-ranked Parma-2 (0-4) was defeated by fourth ranked Unics-2 (3-1) 83-67 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Unics-2. Parma-2 was better in second period 24-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Unics-2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Nikita Sokolov (197-99) fired 21 points for the winners. Center Semen Pinaev (208-99) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Five Unics-2 players scored in double figures. Forward Aleksandr Kurov (205-0) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds and forward Dmitrii Dolmatov (-1) added 7 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Unics-2 have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with N.Novgorod-2. Loser Parma-2 still closes the standings with four games lost. Unics-2 will face MBA-2 (#6) in Moscow in the next round.
