Important game to mention about took place in Debrecen. Seventh ranked Atomeromu (3-2) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 4th placed DEAC (3-2) 76-75 in the game for the fourth place. Atomeromu made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. American guard Shannon Evans-II (185-94, college: ASU) saved the victory by scoring 27 points and 6 assists. His fellow American import Nick Faust (198-93, college: LBSU) contributed with 30 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Montenegrin swingman Milos Borisov (201-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and the former international power forward Adam Toth (206-89) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for DEAC. Four DEAC players scored in double figures. Atomeromu moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated DEAC. Atomeromu will play against ZTE KK (#10) in Zalaegerszeg in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. DEAC will play on the road against the league's leader PVSK-Veolia (#1) in Pecs and hopes to get back on the winning track.
