Regular Season Round 3: Etha - Keravnos 68-85

Date: October 26, 2019
The game in Nicosia was also quite interesting. Keravnos (3-0) played at the court of Etha (0-3). Keravnos did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 85-68 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-68. Keravnos made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Ahmaad Rorie (188-95, college: Montana) who led the winners and scored 17 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. The former international power forward Anthony King (206-85, college: Miami, FL) accounted for 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side. Four Keravnos players scored in double figures. American guard Jeremy Smith (190-95, college: Nicholls St.) came up with 19 points and 4 assists and the other American import center Damontre Harris (208-91, college: Campbellsville) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Etha in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Keravnos will meet at home AEK Larnaca in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Etha will play against Apoel (#4) in Nicosia and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
