Regular Season Round 3: Etha - Keravnos 58-84

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of InterCollege Etha (2-1) in Nicosia on Sunday night. Hosts were rolled over by Keravnos (2-0) 84-58. The game without a history. Keravnos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for American-Greek Niki Avery (167-86, college: EKU, agency: Interperformances) who led her team to a victory with 31 points and 5 assists. International center Sophia Theologou (190-88) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Keravnos' coach Christos Stylianidis felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Paige Cashin (193-95, college: S.Florida) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Ioanna Kyprianou (160-3) added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for InterCollege Etha. Keravnos are looking forward to face C2S AEL in Limassol in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. InterCollege Etha will play on the road against Anagennises in Limassol and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
