Regular Season Round 6: Dynamo-Farm - UMMC Junior 76-60

Bottom-ranked UMMC Junior is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to third ranked Dynamo-Farm (5-1) 76-60 on Thursday evening. Dynamo-Farm forced 22 UMMC Junior turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Dynamo-Farm made 9 blocks. Forward Anastasiia Shuvagina (180-98) notched 23 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks to lead the effort and guard Olesia Safonova (177-99) supported her with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Even 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by Yulia Zarubina (190-99) did not help to save the game for UMMC Junior. Center Aleksandra Ivanova (189-99) added 9 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dynamo-Farm have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Neftyanik and Nika. Loser UMMC Junior still closes the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Chevakata. Dynamo-Farm will meet at home league's second-placed Neftyanik in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. UMMC Junior will play against Kazanochka (#5) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
