Regular Season Round 8: Dynamo-Farm - Neftyanik 91-65

The most important game in the last round took place in Kursk between second ranked Neftyanik (6-2) and fourth ranked Dynamo-Farm (6-2) on Monday night. Neftyanik was crushed by Dynamo-Farm on the road 91-65. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Neftyanik. Dynamo-Farm dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Neftyanik's 24 and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Dynamo-Farm forced 23 Neftyanik turnovers and outrebounded them 50-33 including a 22-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was center Vitalina Zvereva (185-0, agency: LBM Management) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Anastasiia Shuvagina (180-98) chipped in 19 points and 6 assists. Four Dynamo-Farm players scored in double figures. Swingman Ekaterina Mashenkova (182-88) produced 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and swingman Anastasya Alexeeva (182-95) added 19 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dynamo-Farm moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Neftyanik. Dynamo-Farm is looking forward to face Spartak St.Petersburg (#10) in Sankt Petersburg in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Neftyanik will play on the road against Vologda-Chevakata (#11) and is hoping to win this game.
