Date: November 11, 2019
The game in Paphou supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked E.N. Paralimni (3-1) played at the court of 6th ranked APOP (1-4). E.N. Paralimni smashed APOP 87-59 on Monday. The game without a history. E.N. Paralimni led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The game was also dominated by American players. Guard Jordin Williams (190-96, college: LSUA, agency: Network Sports International) stepped up and scored 30 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Anthony Durham (190-96, college: Rider) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Anthony Stover (208-90, college: UCLA) responded with 8 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard Kaelen Malone (185-95, college: ORU) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. E.N. Paralimni moved-up to third place. APOP lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Etha. E.N. Paralimni will meet at home Etha (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. APOP will play against Omonia in Nicosia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
