Regular Season Round 11: Chernye Medv. - Dynamo-Farm 65-59

The game between second ranked Dynamo-Farm (8-3) and ninth ranked Chernye Medv. (4-7) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Dynamo-Farm was defeated by Chernye Medv. in a tough game in Sankt Petersburg 59-65. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dynamo-Farm. The best player for the winners was center Ekaterina Genadieva (187-96) who scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Power forward Viktoriya Shipovskaya (182-94) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Elena Mikhailova (183-0) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and forward Anastasiia Shuvagina (180-98) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chernye Medv. moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Sparta&K-2 V. Dynamo-Farm at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Neftyanik. Chernye Medv. is again looking forward to face higher ranked Dynamo-Farm (#3) in Kursk in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dynamo-Farm will have a break next round.
