Regular Season Round 9: Kaposvari - Szedeak 82-69

Date: November 24, 2019
No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Kaposvari (4-6) beat at home 13th ranked Szedeak (1-8) 82-69 on Sunday. They outrebounded Szedeak 39-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American point guard Rashun Davis (182-93, college: Radford) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international power forward Roland Hendlein (206-86) contributed with 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Davis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Adam Wirth (191-93) answered with 17 points and 4 assists and Serbian guard Milos Milisavljevic (193-93) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Szedeak. Four Kaposvari and five Szedeak players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Kaposvari moved-up to tenth place. Szedeak lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with eight games lost. Kaposvari will face higher ranked KTE-Duna (#5) in Kecskemet in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Szedeak will play at home against Oroszlany (#9) and hope to win that game.
