Regular Season Round 9: ZTE NKK - TFSE-MTK 79-72

Worth to mention about the upset in a game between TFSE-MTK (4-4) and ZTE NKK (4-5), which took place in Zalaegerszeg. Higher ranked TFSE-MTK lost to tenth ranked ZTE NKK in a road game 72-79. They made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was forward Keyona Hayes (188-94, college: Miami, FL) who scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Kirby Burkholder (183-92, college: JMU, agency: Interperformances) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Alisia Jenkins (186-94, college: S.Florida) who recorded 25 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Chanise Jenkins (165-92, college: DePaul, agency: LBM Management) added 19 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Five ZTE NKK and four TFSE-MTK players scored in double figures. TFSE-MTK's coach Bianka Magyar tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. ZTE NKK moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Cegledi EKK and PEAC-Pecs. Newly promoted TFSE-MTK keeps the sixth position with four games lost. ZTE NKK's next round opponent will be BEAC-Ujbuda (#11) in Budapest.
