The game in Cegled was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked UNI Gyor (6-3) played at the court of 7th ranked Cegledi EKK (4-5). UNI Gyor managed to secure a 8-point victory 80-72 on Sunday. UNI Gyor forced 20 Cegledi EKK turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Forward Reka Dombai (179-2) nailed 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and Spanish point guard Sandra Ygueravide (172-84) accounted for 19 points. Czech center Renata Brezinova (190-90) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and guard Dominika Borondy (168-97) added 13 points and 4 steals respectively for Cegledi EKK in the defeat. Four UNI Gyor and five Cegledi EKK players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. UNI Gyor moved-up to third place, which they share with Atomeromu. Loser Cegledi EKK keeps the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with ZTE NKK and PEAC-Pecs. UNI Gyor will meet at home NKE-Csata (#5) in the next round. Cegledi EKK will play against Atomeromu in Szekszard and hope to secure a win.
