Regular Season Round 15: Unics-2 - Zenit-2 75-85

There was a surprise result in Kazan where ninth ranked Zenit-2 (7-9) defeated higher ranked Unics-2 (9-7) 85-75 on Monday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a great evening for forward Nikita Soldatov (200-99) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Nikita Tikhonov (190-99) helped adding 19 points and 5 assists. Four Zenit-2 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Semen Pinaev (208-99) with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Nikita Sokolov (197-99) scored 11 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Zenit-2 moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Spartak-Prim.-2. Loser Unics-2 dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. Zenit-2 will face Enisey-2 (#11) in Krasnoyarsk in the next round. Unics-2 will play on the road against Samara-2 (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
