Regular Season Round 15: Enisey-2 - Parma-2 75-78

Parma-2 has finally registered their first victory this season after 15 consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Krasnoyarsk, where they edged Enisey-2 (2-16) 78-75 on Tuesday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Parma-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Enisey-2's 38. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Aleksandr Kurov (205-0) who scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Grigori Prokofiev (198-0) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Parma-2 players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Artem Shlegel who recorded 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Yegor Bezrukov (185-0) added 17 points respectively. Enisey-2's coach Sergei Bukarev tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Parma-2 maintains twelfth place with 1-15 record. Loser Enisey-2 keeps the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Parma-2 will meet at home higher ranked Spartak-Prim.-2 (#9) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Enisey-2 will play against Zenit-2 in Sankt Petersburg and hope to secure a win.
