Very expected game in Kecskemet where 12th ranked Sopron KC (1-8) was defeated by fifth ranked KTE-Duna (6-2) 90-80 on Thursday. KTE-Duna made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Kemal Karahodzic (210-89) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian swingman Marko Djerasimovic (198-84, agency: BeoExcell) who added 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) during the contest. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sopron KC's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. KTE-Duna moved-up to fourth place. Sopron KC lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with eight games lost. KTE-Duna will face Szolnok (#7) on the road in the next round. Sopron KC will play against Alba (#6) and hope to win that game.
